Nigeria Circular Economy Week will convene entrepreneurs, policymakers, investors and researchers in Lagos from February 16 to February 19.The four-day gathering is designed to accelerate the country’s circular economy markets by “turning ideas into partnerships, policy action and measurable impact”. The programme is expected to feature plenaries, workshops, SME growth clinics, policy labs and investor matchmaking sessions.PROSHARE ECONOMIST CONFERENCE 2026The conference, themed ‘Debt, Rates, and Growth: Can Nigeria Fund Itself Without Killing Private Investment?’, will examine fiscal sustainability and financing conditions. Speakers include Sanyade Okoli, special adviser to the president on finance and economy; Ibukun Oyedeji of Access Holdings; Frances Obafemi of the University of Calabar; and Johnson Chukwu of Cowry Asset Management.The Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2026 annual breakfast roundtable in Lagos on February 17. The forum is themed “Forecasting the 2026 Economic Horizon for Nigeria” and will bring together government officials, business leaders and investors.Officials of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group are also expected to speak at the event. The organisers said discussions will focus on Nigeria’s macroeconomic outlook, policy direction and sectoral opportunities for the year ahead.Lagos Tech Fest will take place from February 17 to February 18 at Four Points by Sheraton and Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island.The event is one of the flagship gatherings for Nigeria’s technology ecosystem, bringing together founders, investors, corporates, and policymakers. Panel sessions, pitch events and networking opportunities will focus on fintech, artificial intelligence, enterprise technology, and digital transformation.The CEO Success Summit will hold on February 21 at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Lekki.Sessions will focus on business growth frameworks, operational scalability, and systems transformation.The African Economic Research Consortium will host its industrial policy conference in Nairobi, Kenya, from February 16 to February 18.Discussions will centre on industrialisation, structural transformation, and economic growth strategies across Africa.
