This comes amid JAMB's admittance that a glitch affected the outcome of the exercise in the entire South-East and Lagos State.
A group of Igbo Think Tank, Nzuko Umunna, has expressed concern over the outcome of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB. This comes amid JAMB's admittance that a glitch affected the outcome of the exercise in the entire South-East and Lagos State. The affected candidates started retaking the examination today, Friday.
' Although it appreciated the apology tendered by JAMB Registrar, Nzuko Umunna expressed concerned about the fixing of the retake exams less than 48 hours after JAMB's admission of blame for the fiascos. 'Given that many of our children are currently retaking the examination as at today 16th May 2025, we strongly insist that no such occurrence should happen in future. 'Also, we urge that JAMB should ensure instant score display at the end of the exam.
