The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of two suspects, Samson Tella and Raphael John, for allegedly robbing unsuspecting members of the public of their valuables in the Lekki and Ajah areas of the state.
He said, “Men of the Lagos State Police Command attached to the Ilasan Division on August 3, 2021, around 9.30am arrested two suspected armed robbers, Samson Tella, 37, and Raphael John, 21, who specialise in ‘one-chance’ robbery and have been terrorising the Lekki/Ajah axis of Lagos State. “The victim quickly informed the police, who tracked down the car to a mechanic workshop in Lafiaji, Lagos Island, on August 3, 2021, where the suspects were arrested with the stolen car. The victim identified Samson Tella as one of the robbers, who attacked him.”
