The Transmission Company of Nigeria has announced that power supply to parts of Nasarawa state will be disrupted for six hours on Saturday, June 22, 2024, due to scheduled maintenance.
TCN said in a statement on Friday that the maintenance exercise will be carried out on its 40 megavolt-amperes transformer at the Akwanga transmission substation.“The Transmission Company of Nigeria hereby states that its maintenance crew will carry out planned annual preventive maintenance on its 40MVA Transformer at Akwanga Transmission Substation on Saturday, 22nd June, 2024 between the hours of 9:30 am and 4:30 pm,” the statement reads.
TCN said the power supply will be restored immediately after the maintenance is completed by 4.30 pm on June 22.
