The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) says power supply to parts of Nasarawa state will be disrupted for six hours on June 22 over scheduled annual preventive maintenance.

The Transmission Company of Nigeria says power supply to parts of Nasarawa state will be disrupted for six hours on Saturday, over scheduled maintenance.

In a statement on Friday, the TCN said the maintenance exercise will be carried out on its 40 megavolt-amperes transformer at the Akwanga transmission substation. Consequently, the company said the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company would be unable to offtake power from the transformer to“The Transmission Company of Nigeria hereby states that its maintenance crew will carry out a planned annual preventive maintenance on its 40MVA Transformer at Akwanga Transmission Substation on Saturday, 22nd June, 2024 between the hours of 9:30am and 4:30pm,” the statement reads.
