Areyenka also thanked electorates in the council for voting massively for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the during the Presidential and National Assembly elections, urging them to vote Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the PDP’s candidate for the state House of Assembly seat in the area come March 9.“The slogan is that Governor Okowa should be re elected for a second term. Power rotation must be respected. He should be allowed to continue his good works all over the state.

He commended security agencies for their effort in ensuring that the election was peaceful in the council, pleading that they should work with INEC this Saturday’s election to see that the election smoothly take off in all the riverine communities as scheduled.
