WARRI—Ahead of Saturday’s governorship election, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and security agencies have been urged to ensure materials arrive early in riverine communities of Delta State to enhance participation of the electorate in the exercise.
Former Chief of Staff, Government House, Delta State, Chief Solomon Areyenka, the Eson of Warri Kingdom who made the appeal yesterday in Koko, headquarters of Warri North Local Government Area of the state, said the election was slightly delayed in several riverine communities in Warri North because of late arrival of materials during the Presidential and National Assembly elections, adding that this time, INEC and security agencies should work out modalities for early arrival of materials from...
“The slogan is that Governor Okowa should be re elected for a second term. Power rotation must be respected. He should be allowed to continue his good works all over the state.
