The Yaba Magistrates’ Court on Monday remanded three employees of Berger Paints Nigeria Limited for allegedly stealing their employer’s products and raw materials used in making cement.
He added that in the cause of questioning, the defendant opened up about his accomplices, who also work in the same department with him and how they usually share the proceeds from the sales of the raw materials.
Enang requested the court to remand the defendants for 21 days in the custody of the Police Special Fraud Unit, at 13, Milverton Road, Ikoyi, Lagos State pending the conclusion of the investigation. Following the request of the prosecutor, Olatunbosun remanded the defendants and adjourned the case till June 26, 2023.All rights reserved.
