Ailing Segun Oyedele, 36, who recently returned from South Africa due to a kidney disease, needs the sum of N15 million for a kidney transplant.
Oyedele’s sister, Seun, told our correspondent that her brother had reached the fifth stage in his dialysis and the doctors had advised him to go for a kidney transplant.
“When he returned to Nigeria, he started his dialysis at a private hospital in Palmgroove area of Lagos, and has been receiving treatment there,” Seun said. Also, speaking with our correspondent, Oyedele said, “I have been battling with kidney disease since 2018 and my treatment options are limited to dialysis treatments or a kidney transplant. Frequent dialysis is essential for me to stay alive. I am undergoing dialysis at JFK Dialysis Centre at Palmgrove, Lagos, two times in a week. Each session lasts between four and six hours.
