The Kogi State chairman of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Prince Suleimam Abubakar, has said the party leadership does not have not have a preferred
aspirant ahead of the governorship primaries in Kogi State. He also added that the party will ensure a level playing field for all aspirants.
He also added that the party will emerge victorious in the forthcoming governorship elections in the state. Abubakar who stated this in a press statement made available to journalists yesterday noted that NNPP will be the pride of all Kogites. He said the party is based on ideology and for the ordinary people, stressing that the party will organise a free and fair primary for all the contenders.
He said “As the chairman, I need to be neutral and see all the candidates as one. I have interacted with all of them individually and assured them of a level playing ground. “I emphatically told them that I will be neutral and only support whoever emerged from the primary election.
