The national secretary of Accord, Hon. Adebukola Ajaja has described the suspension of the chairman of the party in Oyo State, Kolade Ojo, and his
Ajaja noted that the national chairman of the party, Muhammad Nalado, decided to suspend the duo without considering the provision of the party’s constitution.
The meeting was attended by prominent members of the party among whom were Shina Abiola Peller who is currently representing the Iseyin/ Itesiwaju/ Iwajowa/ Kajola Federal Constituency.and secretary of the party in the state. Insisting that the suspension was contrary to the provision of the constitution, she said: “What they did is illegal. They just took the decision within two hours. It is illegal. It cannot work. What we want in Accord this time around is 100 per cent. We don’t want 99 per cent loyalty in Accord.
“Kolade Ojo is still your chairman. Hon. Olayinka Dairo is still your secretary. The national chairman of the party took the decision unilaterally. They did not consult me.
