The Nigerian Institute of Building has expressed its readiness to work with the Federation of Construction Industry to strengthen the capacity of construction artisans in the country.
A statement from Awobodu said it was necessary to develop the synergy that would help the construction industry, which he observed was facing many challenges and setbacks noting that the institute, which has been building its training centre in Abuja, would be working closely with FOCI in the area of assessment and certification of building artisans in accordance with the policy of the National Board of Technical Education.
Awobudu said, “Most of us who have been working on site understand the importance of dexterity and technical eye at determining the straightness of wall edges and accuracy in levels and shapes.
