1. The Peoples Democratic Party has claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari did not write to the National Assembly, to inform them of his trip to the United Kingdom.

In response to the claim by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, that the president absconded from duty, Shehu insisted that Buhari didn’t make a mistake by taking off without writing a letter to the National Assembly. The Constitution says 21 days is the back off point. That is where infringement is caused.

4. Barely one week the National Judiciary Council waded into the impasse between the Executive and the Judiciary in Kogi State, workers under the auspice of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria has called off its over four months strike in the state. ASUU President, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi in a letter written to chapter chairmen of the union in Ibadan on Sunday by the Chairman of University of Ibadan chapter, Professor Deji Omole, directed members not to fill the personnel verification form.

8. The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Sunday accused the President Muhammadu Buhari-led presidency and the All Progressives Congress of being desperate to remain in power at all costs.
