Commodore Rafiu Oladejo , the outgoing commander of the Nigerian Navy Ship, NNS BEECROFT , highlighted the Base's significant accomplishments during his tenure. Speaking at his farewell parade held at NNS BEECROFT parade ground in Apapa, Lagos, on Thursday, Oladejo emphasized the Base's commitment to safeguarding maritime security and combating illicit activities.

He revealed that NNS BEECROFT successfully seized 265 bags of cannabis sativa, weighing a total of 10,600kg, and handed them over to the appropriate authorities throughout his command.
