The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has said the new and upgraded fire stations in the state will lead to a considerable reduction in losses associated with fire outbreaks.

“Moreover, the earlier the fire is attacked, the lesser the damage it will have on people and property. This is why these newly constructed stations will lead to a considerable reduction in losses associated with fire outbreaks and eventual discomfort suffered by our people.”

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations, Mr Mobolaji Ogunlende, said, “The government’s concession for six fire stations out of which three were inaugurated and the upgrade of the existing fire stations in the state signifies a milestone in the journey to rebrand and reposition the state’s fire and rescue services.”All rights reserved.
