NCDC opens four new COVID-19 testing laboratories

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has announced the inclusion of four new COVID-19 testing laboratories to the list of molecular laboratory network in the country.This brings the total number of laboratories in the country with the capacity to test for the virus to 38.

The NCDC had inaugurated COVID-19 testing laboratories in Lagos State, Ogun State, Kaduna State, Borno State, Kano State, Plateau State. Others are in Oyo State, Osun State, Ebonyi State, Rivers State, Edo State, Imo State, as well as the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
