The Kano State government has made plans to transfer the iconic design of the demolished government house roundabout to a more secure place at the Naibawa

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf who met with the designer of the Golden Jubilee edifice, Kaltume Hana at the new site for the structure, expressed the government’s commitment to infrastructural development.

In a statement by the acting press secretary to the Governor, Hisham Habib, the new location is most suitable for the project, and will not pose any challenge. The statement informed that the decision was taken after a carefully conducted survey and assured the citizens of better projects ahead. The designer, Kaltume Gana thanked the governor for preserving her unique work which was adjudged a masterpiece.

The structure designed like a traditional gate with a trumpet was pulled down after it was deemed unsuitable for the location and security of the government house.
