The error, which was contained in a press statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, has led to widespread confusion. President Tinubu, in the original statement, stated that the roles of board chairpersons are non-executive and warned against interference in the day-to-day management of the agencies.
