A member of the All Progressives Congress , Fouad Oki has said that President Bola Tinubi's intervention in the crisis rocking party members and lawmakers in Lagos state failed to save the former Speaker of the House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa from impeachment.
According to Oki, it was important for the party and the president to keep Lagos as a pivot for Tinubu's political leadership. He said, “Before the President came home, this issue had been lingering. In the wisdom of members of the Governor’s Advisory Council , the President’s attention was called.'
