Gunmen suspected to be bandits have attacked Kwankwashe, a community located along Suleja/Madalla road, Niger State, and kidnapped an unspecified number
DAILY POST gathered that the incident occurred on Wednesday morning when the gunmen raided about three houses, including a hotel, in the area.
The bandits, who were well-armed, robbed the residents and collected their phones and money before whisking the abductees away. It was learnt that the assailants, who also abducted two hotel staff in the area, operated for more than one hour before fleeing on hearing a police siren. When contacted by DAILY POST, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Wasiu Abiodun said he “cannot talk now”.
