Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has assured civil servants in the state that his administration will prioritise their welfare.

Governor Fubara gave the assurance when he visited the Rivers State Secretariat complex in Port Harcourt. He said the purpose of his visit was to make an on-the-spot assessment of the state of the facilities at the secretariat and to address the challenges to improve the productivity of workers. He noted that the state government had previously spent much money on water supply in the secretariat, but there was no justification for the funds that were expended.
