COVID-19: Only those with roofs over their heads can stay home, safe – Obiano

Wife of Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Ebelechukwu Obiano has donated two houses to two widows, each at Akwaihedi, Nnewi South and Igboukwu in Aguata Local Government Area of the state.

Speaking during the handing over of the buildings, Obiano regretted that some women in the state could not comfortably stay at home for lack of shelter, arguing that only those with roofs over their heads that could stay at home. “This is why I decided to come out today to ensure that our sisters stay at home and stay safe by handing the keys to two new 2-bedroom bungalows built free by my NGO, CAFE.”

Assuring quick furnishing of the houses with necessary household furniture and television to ensure the comfort of the beneficiaries, the governor’s wife called the people of the state to assist the less privileged especially during the period of the scourge.
