The police have arraigned a 33-year- old man, Segun Agunbiade, before an Ogba Magistrates’ Court, Ikeja, Lagos State, for allegedly attempting to kill one Ozim Maureen with a knife.
The charges read in part, “That you, Segun Agunbiade, on January 10, 2023, around 6pm somewhere along Balogun Street, Agege, Lagos, in the Ikeja Magisterial District, did attempt to unlawfully kill one Ozim Maureen with a knife, thereby committing an offence.”
According to the police prosecutor, Inspector Patricia Ojeh, the offences contravene sections 230, 245, 51 and 56 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State. The chief magistrate granted the defendant bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum.All rights reserved.
