The Zamfara State Governor, Bello Mohammed Matawalle, has officially received the membership card of the All Progressive Congress in Maradun.
A leader of the APC National Registration Committee in the state, Ibrahim Masari, presented the membership card to the governor after answering questions on his personal data contained in the form. According to him, with the official registration of the governor in the APC, he has become a full-fledged member of the party.Also commenting on Matawalle’s registration, Secretary of the State Caretaker Committee, Professor Abdulahi Shinkafi, said that the committee has prepared fully to ensure successful distribution of the membership cards to all potential members.
The Governor was accompanied by two former governors of the state, Senator Ahmed Sani Yarima and Alhaji Aliyu Mahmuda Shinkafi, two former deputy Governors of the state, Hon. Muktar Anka and Mallalln Ibrahim Wakkala. Others who accompanied the governor are Senator Hassan Mohammed Nasiha; the former Speaker, Zamfara State House of Assembly, Hon. Sanusi Garba Rikiji, amongst others.
