Some senior members of the APC say the creation of the Gov. Mala Buni-led caretaker committee to run the affairs of the party at the national level is illegal.
says the caretaker arrangement by the All Progressives Congress is legitimate and constitutional.
Mr Umahi, who defected to the APC from the Peoples Democratic Party last year, noted that the caretaker arrangement put together by the party was in line with the party’s constitution. “When that opinion was expressed, I had to go through the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the constitution of the party,” he said.
