GOMBE State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya has expressed confidence in contesting against anyone who wishes to contest for the governor office in the state in 2023.

The governor made this disclosure on Saturday, at the All Progressives Congress Square Gombe, when he launched an empowerment scheme in support of the less privileged from Jekadafari, provided by the Jekadafari Community Forum. Recall that a gubernatorial aspirant under APC, Jubrin Danbarde, had defected to the Peoples Democratic Party to prosecute his governorship ambition.

The governor said, “Considering the overwhelming support I am now enjoying from the people of Jekadafari and the state at large, I have every confidence to face whoever wishes to run for the governorship seat in the state.”
