THE protest by Rivers youths to compel the Federal Government to fix the dilapidated section of the Eleme East-West Road continued on Tuesday.The protesters displayed placards to express their frustrations over the Federal Government failure to fix the section.
“This is the treasure base of the nation because the sea port, the refinery, fertiliser company and Onne Oil and Gas Free Zone are all in Eleme. But nothing is happening here. Look at the road.Meanwhile, some drivers of heavy duty trucks accused some of the protesters of extorting money from them.
