Prof Khalifa Dikwa, the Dean of Borno Elders Forum, has criticised the appointments made by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying the focus on Lagos indigenes does not bode well for the country.

There is an issue with his appointments because most of his appointees are either misfits or weak or taken to the wrong places. He alleged that the Tinubu administration was being remote-controlled by institutions such as the International Monetary Fund and World Bank.
