Xenophobia: MTN, MultiChoice Shut Down Operations In Kaduna.
Mobile telecommunications company, MTN, and multi-choice offices in the Kaduna city on Wednesday shut down their operations for fear attack by residents angered by xenophobic attacks in South Africa.
A banner with “WESAYNOTOXENOPHOBIA” inscription was displayed at the entrance of the office while some policemen kept surveillance on the facility.Nigeria, South Africa Beef Up Security After Xenophobic Attacks An official of the company told Channels Television that the Nigerian division of the company will shut all its offices and service centres in the country until further notice.
