Arsenal legend, Ian Wright believes Chelsea made a mistake by not signing former Arsenal goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale last summer transfer window. Ramsdale enjoyed two successful seasons at Arsenal before he eventually fell down the pecking order in Mikel Arteta's choice of goalkeepers. The England international was behind David Raya at Arsenal before he eventually moved to Southampton in the summer.
But Wright feels the Blues would have signed Ramsdale, adding that the 26-year-old would have been perfect for the Premier League west London club. 'You look at Chelsea now and offensively, everything is in order,' Wright said on the Kelly and Wrighty show. 'I thought Jadon Sancho was very good, obviously, Cole Palmer is doing great stuff, but defensively they just need to tighten up everything.
