The Ondo State Police Command, on Friday, said it had commenced an investigation into the death of a woman, Alhaja Kadijat Falekulo.
The source said, “The gunmen said they wanted to buy foodstuff from the woman and as she got out to attend to them, suddenly they brought out a matchet and cut her at the neck and after that, they stole her jewellery.”
According to the source, after committing the act, the hoodlums allegedly attempted to set the room ablaze but were not successful. The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, who confirmed the incident, said investigations had begun.All rights reserved.
