Residents of Ondo State have expressed dismay over the sudden increment in the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, popularly known as petroleum, by

According to the residents, NNPCL goofed over the increment as there was no measure put in place by the federal government to cushion the impact of the removal of fuel subsidy.

While effecting the change of the new price on their display board, some motorists, in annoyance, left the filling station, describing it as insensitive on the part of the government and adding that they could not afford the amount due to the economic situation of the country. Adubiaro said no one seems to be prepared for the new regime of subsidy removal, as everyone had been waiting for the government’s plan to ease the effect of the removal of subsidies.
