A new survey of 2,000 Brits has revealed the funny, subtle ways they'd spend their money if price was no object - from the brand of ketchup they'd buy to the way they'd do their weekly shop

Nearly a third wouldn't tell anyone if they struck it rich - but that doesn't mean they wouldn't upgrade their lifestyle. "But anyone who's been on social media will have seen the humorous posts about how 'there will be signs' if they came into a fortune. One thing's for sure, we know those fortunate enough to come into money will be clearing out the shelves in M&S."
The survey also found that a discreet 44 per cent of Britons wouldn't inform their workmates if they were to come into a substantial sum of money. Furthermore, 20 per cent feared they could only maintain their composure for a week or less before splurging if they became exceedingly wealthy.
