A three-storey building collapsed in the Ebute Metta area of Lagos State on Friday.

It was gathered that some occupants of the building situated on Cemetery Street were trapped when it suddenly collapsed.

The spokesperson for the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Nosa Okunbor, confirmed the incident. “Our personnel are on ground at the scene and rescue operation is ongoing,” Okunbor briskly said when contacted byReacting later to the development, LASEMA Director-General, Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, said there was no loss of life, adding that first responders from different emergency agencies in the state were at the scene.
