The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) have announced the appointment of five new imams
The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs has appointed five new imams for the national mosque in Abuja.
The newly appointed imams are Ilyasu Usman , Luqman Zakariyah , Khalid Abubakar , Haroun Muhammad Eze , and Abdulkadir Salman . “The EGPC, at its meeting held on Sunday, Dec. 1, endorsed, on behalf of the general assembly, their appointments, subject to the endorsement of the national fatwa committee, which has also cleared the five imams as qualified to be imams of the mosque.”
