Two COVID-19 patients from the Brigadier Abba Kyari Memorial isolation centre in Maiduguri have been discharged.
The Vice-Chairman of the response Committee and Commissioner for Information, Borno State, Alhaji Babakura Abba Jato made the announcement at a press briefing on the activities of his team.
Jato reiterated that COVID-19 is real and urged the public to observe the laid down protocol for the prevention of the disease stressing that it is only through the observance of proper hygiene, constant washing of hands under running water with soap or ash, wearing of face mask in public and maintaining social distancing that the disease can be kept at bay.
