The group referred to the report of the National Bureau of Statistics , which indicated that Nigeria recorded 10,604 incidents of road crashes, with serious cases and fatalities amounting to over 60 per cent, to buttress its claim. “Indeed, the fortunes of FERMA have been experiencing diminishing returns, but it has never been this bad. It is gone completely. Consequently, FERMA as presently constituted cannot justify its existence and pay,” it noted.
