President Bola Tinubu on Friday commissioned the National Assembly Central Mosque urging Muslims to exhibit humility in their daily lives.while noting the vanity of life, called on Muslims to “walk the earth with humility.”
The president recognised the crucial role played by the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, in the construction of the mosque. “We pray Allah will continue to guide and bless the national assembly so that they will continue to work for the betterment of humanity.”
Chairman of the Mosque Construction Committee, Ibrahim Shekarau , said that the idea for the construction of the new National Assembly Mosque began in 2021.
