President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of eight permanent secretaries in the Federal Civil Service. The new appointees are expected to fill existing and impending vacancies in some states and geopolitical zones.
A statement by Tinubu 's media aide, Bayo Onanuga, listed the appointees as Onwusoro Maduka Ihemelandu , Ndiomu Ebiogeh Philip , Anuma Ogbonnaya Nlia ,Ogbodo Chinasa Nnam , Kalba Danjuma Usman , Usman Salihu Aminu , Oyekunle Patience Nwakuso and Nadungu Gagare .
The statement noted that it was the second set of eight permanent secretaries appointed by the president, following those appointed last June from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Jigawa, Ondo, Zamfara, South East and South-South. Onanuga explained that the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation recommended that the new permanent secretaries be appointed after diligent selection.
