Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, HCSF, Didi Esther Walson-Jack, has said that workers who came into the civil service through the back doors do not go unpunished.
Walson-Jack said this on Monday while fielding questions from journalists at a press conference to mark her 100 days in office as Head of the Nigerian civil service . She said even though it was the responsibility of the Federal Civil Service Commission to recruit workers into the system, the civil service was there to support that responsibility.
And I know that the civil service has been doing that because when you find that someone has obtained a job under fraudulent means, of course the person is already in the service, the civil service will have to work with the Commission to ensure that that person is sanctioned,' the HCSF said. Speaking on corruption among civil servants, the HoS added, 'Corruption is an issue for everyone. It is an issue that has to be dealt with from all angles and all hands must be on deck.
