It was learnt that some vigilante members along with some residents had on Thursday evening around 5.30, moved evening n mass to a location in Mji community,Kankara Local Government Area with a view to recovering some domestic animals that the terrorists had rustled and kept there.

The residents said unknown to the vigilante members and those who accompanied them ,the terrorists who came through Bakori, were aware of their presence and they had already laid ambush for them. The residents alleged that the terrorists swooped on the vigilante team and killed no fewer than thirty,adding that several others were also injured.

It was further learnt that the corpses of the victims were still being removed from the scene on Friday morning for burial.All rights reserved.
