Sleet and snow will return
Christmas may be over but it seems we are not out of the thick of it with the cold weather as Met Eireann has confirmed temperatures are set to drop once again.If you are heading out over the next few days to soak up the last of the festivities then be sure to wrap up as temps will reach at least 1.
The weather advisory confirmed we can expect further showers with some bright or sunny periods, so it’s not all bad news! Friday will see outbreaks of rain, heavy in the morning. Some dry and bright spells will develop for the afternoon, but there will be some further rainfall in parts too. On Saturday, there is some uncertainty in the forecast but current indications show that there will likely be some showers but with a good deal of dry weather too in the afternoon.
