Favour, who was arraigned before Magistrate O.O Adeosun, is facing two-count bordering on assault preferred against him by the police.
The charge read, “That you, Ogwu Favour, on April 16, 2023, around 1pm at No.15 Orowunmi Street, Orile Iganmu in the Lagos State Magisterial District did assault one Chukwuma Nwali by using a stool to inflict serious injury on his right eye which caused him bodily harm and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 173 of Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.”
The Magistrate, Adeosun, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N60, 000 with sureties in like sum.All rights reserved.
