Bishop Oluwafeyiropo Daniels on Monday appeared at the Lagos Special Offences Court in Ikeja on a two-count charge of rape.
The judge also directed the church leader to submit his international passport to the court and adjourned to 9th of May, 2023 for trial. The Lagos Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Agency, DSVA, is involved in the case whose legal advice was issued in December 2022. “It is also revealed that Oluwafeyiropo Daniels invites the branch pastors and assistants to his house from time to time for one reason or the other,” the DPP report said.
