Armed youths suspected to be cultists on Tuesday killed the youth President of Atai Ibiaku community in the Itu Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Edet Ibanga

It was gathered that late Ibanga was shot in his chest by the hoodlums around 1am after he breezed into the opposite compound to settle scores not knowing that cultists had invaded the place.The daughter of the deceased, a 200-level student of Department of Banking/Finance, University of Uyo, Blessing, was too emotional to speak to our correspondent as she repeatedly fought back tears.

However, an eyewitness, M. Imoh Ekim explained that the hoodlums, numbering about 18, had stormed the compound in search of one man, who was having an issue with a girlfriend of one of them.
