Vice President Kashim Shettima launched a World Bank -funded State Action on Business Enabling Reforms (SABRE) project in Nasarawa State on Friday. The project includes a one-stop investment center and a multi-door court in Lafia, the state capital. Shettima's spokesperson, Stanley Nkwocha, released a statement saying the ceremony was part of events marking the vice president's one-day state visit to Nasarawa.
Following the groundbreaking ceremony, Shettima oversaw the distribution of relief materials to flood victims in affected local government areas. He also presided over the presentation of tractors and the distribution of Jangwa Paddi Rice to 13 LGAs, sourced from the pioneering Nasarawa Rice Farm project. Shettima praised Governor Sule's leadership, noting that his qualities have fostered peaceful coexistence among the state's diverse ethnic groups while transforming and enhancing agricultural productivity
