Security operatives on Monday razed two brothels in the Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State.

They were also reported to have burnt a residential building at Okwuabala community in the same Orlu LGA. The affected brothels are Daba Inn, Ihitte Owerre community, and Evening Paris, at Amaifeke community.Villagers, who spoke to our correspondent, said many people were arrested.Scores of people, including visitors and sexual workers, were nabbed.

Our correspondent, who visited the scenes on Tuesday, was told that the security operatives stormed the brothels in many vehicles. A spokesperson for the police in the state, Mike Abattam, confirmed the incident, adding that over 20 suspects were arrested.All rights reserved.
