Teamtalk Thursday reported that Rangers were ‘well advanced’ in their chase for the Cremonese forward.

Despite having their initial offer of €6m turned down by the Italian outfits, Rangers are not backing out and have made an improved bid for the Nigerian.

Teamtalk claimed that the player was ‘about to say goodbye’ to Cremonese after just one season following the club’s relegation to Serie B. Dessers was unable to help them stay up, and the Italians are now ‘obliged to sell him’. As for the fee, the outlet add that the two teams could reach ‘an agreement’ at around €4.2m with a bonus of €1m.All rights reserved.
