The Lagos State government has approved the distribution of 100 units of new vehicles for state directors in the mainstream, teaching and health sectors.
The state Head of Service, Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola, announced this in a circular issued on Tuesday, adding that an e-ballot process will be deployed for eligible officers.
The letter partly reads, “In recognition of the contribution of public servants to the development of the state, and in fulfilment of Mr Governor’s promise of personalised directors’ vehicles, 100 units of brand new vehicles have been approved for distribution to substantive Directors – GL. 17 in the mainstream, teaching and health sectors.
“Consequently, to ensure fairness, equity, and transparency, an e-ballot process will be deployed on Thursday, January 26, 2023, via a link to be forwarded to the official email of eligible officers.
