The President of Rotary Club of Satellite Town, Dickson Nwankwo, said the event was not necessarily his first major incident. Each month, he executes a project that attracts members from the district and the people in the community.
“First it was in July, when we planted 100 trees at the Police Children School, Satellite Town. The chairman of the CDA and other personnel in the community were present. We also marked the Basic Education and Literacy month, where we distributed writing materials. Over 300 books and writings materials were distributed to students in various schools in Satellite Town, build toilets for schools, provide borehole and reroof Police Children School, Satellite Town.
We are also renovating two blocks of classrooms for the primary school. All projects go on simultaneously, and the project will be commissioned soon.”“We screened 12 of them and six of them from different parts of the country came out successfully. We empowered them with N50,000 each to boost their businesses.
He added: “We intend to buy Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board forms for five indigent students. ” He described the district governor’s visit as successful and as an opportunity for her to confirm the performance of the Club. She was happy that the good report she is getting in the district it is exactly what is happening in the club.“The Rotary Club of Satellite Town is so united and its members are actually making progress.
